Prize Levels

There are multiple levels of prizes for you to win. All winners are selected by random drawing. Prizes will be drawn for in the following order. Once an entry wins, it will not be eligible for additional prizes within that category. Individuals may have entries in multiple categories which may allow them to win more than one prize.

EVENT GRAND PRIZES: Collect the stamps from ALL stores on the All Mid-Atlantic Shop Hop to be entered in the drawing to win a special event-wide grand prize.

HALFWAY PRIZES: Collect passport stamps from at least HALF of all participating stores anywhere in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania to be entered in this prize drawing.

REGIONAL PRIZES: Collect passport stamps from ALL stores in a Region to receive one entry into the prize drawing for THAT region. Regional Grand Prizes will be drawn first. Entries then become eligible for the many other prizes offered for each region. Complete one or all regions for more chances to win!

BONUS STORE PRIZES: Bonus Stores are optional extra stops on the Shop Hop that may be located remotely or have limited hours. Bonus Stores may not be offered in each Shop Hop and they may vary from year to year. Visiting a Bonus Store does not count toward regional, halfway or event grand prizes, but you will be entered in a separate bonus prize drawing.

GENERAL LEVEL PRIZES: Collect passport stamps from 5 or more participating stores anywhere in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania to be entered in this prize drawing. Shoppers who collect stamps from all the stores in a region will also be entered into this drawing. Be sure to submit your passport for entry!

YOUTH PRIZES: We offer a youth passport specifically for kids ages 8 to 17, available at any Shop Hop store. Collect stickers from any number of participating stores, then mail us your passport at the end of the Shop Hop to receive a special youth gift.

Thank-You Gifts for Shoppers

COLLECTIBLE NOTECARDS: Each year, our participating stores give Shop Hop customers a small gift when they present their passports. (Sorry, giveaways are not available for purchase.) This year we’ve designed 4” x 5” notecard and envelope sets as this free thank-you gift. The cards feature a fun, sewing-themed message on the front, the store’s name and info on the back, and a blank inside. Since each Shop Hop store has a unique notecard, you can collect the entire set by visiting every store! These notecard and envelope sets will only be available to those embarking on the All Mid-Atlantic Shop Hop, so be sure to get your passport to start collecting stamps and notecards.

QUILT LABELS FOR REGIONAL FINISHERS: As a thank-you for visiting all stores in a region of the Shop Hop, participants will receive a quilt label. Earn one label for each completed region. Using embroidery or a permanent fabric marker, fill in the year, who made the quilt, and if appropriate, who the quilt was made for. Then attach the fabric label to the back of your quilt. Be sure to mail in your Passport by the date indicated to qualify for regional thank-you gifts.

NOTECARD BOXES FOR EVENT FINISHERS: Collect passport stamps from ALL participating All Mid-Atlantic Shop Hop stores and receive a notecard storage box to hold all the cards and envelopes you collected on your Great Sewing Adventures. Be sure to mail in your passport by the date indicated. Qualifying participants will receive their notecard box by mail. No purchase necessary. Please allow 6 to 8 weeks following the end of the Shop Hop for delivery.

Submitting Completed Passports

To qualify for prize drawings, place your passport in an envelope and mail directly to All Mid-Atlantic Shop Hop postmarked no later than September 3, 2027. (We cannot verify passport arrival. The most economical way to track your passport is to mail it certified through USPS without a return receipt.)
